Nude Beach Overview
Playa de Cofete sits on Fuerteventura's southwestern peninsula. You reach it via a dirt road that takes 45 minutes from Morro Jable. The beach stretches 12 kilometers along the Atlantic coast.
Strong winds hit the shore most days. The ocean produces powerful currents and high waves. Swimming carries risk here. Several drownings occur each year.
No facilities exist at the beach. You bring your own water, food, and shade. The nearest services are in Morro Jable.
Nude sunbathing happens on the northern sections. Clothed and unclothed visitors share the space without issue. The beach's size means you find isolated spots.
Mountains rise behind the sand, creating a remote atmosphere. Few people make the journey. On weekdays, you might see 20-30 others across the entire stretch.
The combination of isolation, rough seas, and lack of amenities makes this beach suited for experienced beachgoers who want solitude and accept the conditions.
